With gorgeous panoramic views at the top, the Stowe Pinnacle Hike is a perennial favorite. At the summit, you’ll see across Lake Champlain to the Adirondack Mountains of New York, as well as hundreds of miles to the north and south. Approximately 3 miles round trip, it is an intermediate hike. There are parts that are steeper and, if wet, can be trickier. Expect 2 to 3 hours of walking, based on your abilities. Make sure to follow signs as there are multiple trails in the area. To reach the same summit, with a slightly easier lead-in, check out the Stowe “Pinnacle Meadows” hike.
