The Nebraska Notch hike is situated at the top of the beautiful Nebraska Valley in Stowe. Approximately 3 miles round trip, this moderate hike will take you beside Lake Mansfield, up past untouched beaver ponds, and, at the top, to sweeping views of rock escarpments. You can lunch at the Taylor Lodge, take a quick detour through Clara’s Bough, and return the way you came. Generally less busy than other hikes in the area, Nebraska Notch is a great choice on busier weekends and during fall foliage season.
