This house has a beautiful, open living concept designed around a custom fir-beamed central staircase and windows that bring Vermont's beauty inside. The main floor features an upscale kitchen that leads to the dining area and then beyond to the living room with a large sectional couch. A "book nook" and enclosed porch looking out to the river provide areas to relax after a long day of skiing or hiking. Windows throughout remind you that you're tucked away in Vermont's woods - this house truly brings the outside in!
Upstairs are three bedrooms - the master, with a king bed and a custom ensuite shower. The "treehouse room" features a wall of windows looking over the river and a four-poster queen bed with a full bathroom just outside. A third queen bedroom provides enough space for the kids or another group.
On the lower level is a second living room with tons of windows, nine foot ceilings, and space for all. Two twin beds are in this space for the kids to have their own area. An extra TV lets them separate away from the adults at the end of the day.
There are 2.5 bathrooms total. The lower level has no bath on that floor, there is an extra half bath on first floor.
In the summer, splash in Miller Brook located in the backyard. This house is a nature lover's paradise - hiking, snowshoeing, mountain biking, and back country skiing are just out the door. This house is surrounded by the Mount Mansfield State forest, with multiple trailheads within a mile.

Payment Policies
A partial payment in the amount of 50% of the grand total is due upon booking. Remaining payment is due no later than 45 days prior to arrival. If the booking is made after the second payment would be due, then this payment will be combined and due together with the first payment. Unless the guest opts to buy Property Damage Protection in the checkout process, a separate refundable damage deposit is required in the amount of $1,000.00. Instead of directly charging for the damage deposit, a hold will be placed on the payment card on file 2 days prior to arrival. It will be automatically released on 7 days after check-out, provided no charges apply.
We recommend that all travelers purchase trip insurance for their trip. It is an option provided during the reservation payment process.
Cancellations requested more than 60 days prior to the arrival date will receive a 50% refund. There is no refund for cancellations requested less than 60 days prior to the arrival date. However, at our discretion, refunds may be considered to the extent canceled dates can be filled at comparable rates. All cancellations are subject to a minimum 6% credit card processing fee. If you anticipate not being able to utilize your reservation, contact us as early as possible so we can make the dates available to other travelers.
