The EPA and State of Vermont have issued a “Do Not Drink” order for tap water at Mountainside Resort. Tap water should not be used for drinking, cooking, or any consumptive use. It is safe for bathing, showering, and washing clothes.
Bottled water is available daily at the pool center from 9 AM to 9 PM, and this unit is also supplied with a water cooler for guest use. Mountainside Resort is actively working on installing the necessary filtration system to resolve the issue.
*Please be advised, Stowe is a mountain town and conditions can change rapidly. We always recommend snow tires or four wheel drive around town in the winter months.

Payment Policies
A partial payment in the amount of 50% of the grand total is due upon booking. Remaining payment is due no later than 45 days prior to arrival. If the booking is made after the second payment would be due, then this payment will be combined and due together with the first payment.
Refund and Cancellation policy:
We recommend that all travelers purchase trip insurance for their trip.
For channel bookings (airbnb, vrbo/homeaway, booking.com): The cancellation policy listed at checkout in the channel website shall supercede the below cancellation policy.
For reservations less than 30 nights:
Cancellations confirmed by Mountain View Vacations more than 60 days prior to the arrival date (90 days prior for holiday periods) will receive a full refund, minus a 10% service charge. There is no refund for cancellations requested 60 days or less prior to the arrival date (90 days prior for holiday periods). However, at our discretion, refunds may be considered to the extent canceled dates can be filled at comparable rates. If you anticipate not being able to utilize your reservation, contact us as early as possible so we can make the dates available to other travelers.
For reservations 30 nights and longer:
Reservations 30 nights and longer may be canceled for 48 hours after booking, provided the arrival date is more than 30 days in the future. A 10% service charge will apply to all cancellations. The reservation is 50% refundable up until 180 days prior to the start date of the reservation. After this period, there is no further refund for a cancellation. Mountain View Vacations may, at its sole discretion, consider a refund to the extent that canceled dates may be filled at comparable rates. If you anticipate not being able to utilize your reservation, contact us as early as possible so we can make the dates available to other travelers.

Pets policy: Pets must be approved before arrival. They must be kept off furniture, picked up after, on a flea & tick preventative, and not left unattended. Only 1 dog per stay is allowed. Please note there is a pet fee associated with this listing if you intend to travel with your pet. It is a per-pet fee. We do not allow more than one pet without prior permission. Until April 2025 Guests may bring one dog up to 40 lbs. The following dog breeds are ineligible: Akita, Alaskan Malamute, American Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, Mastiffs, Pit Bulls, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, any wolf hybrid or any mix or variation of these breeds.
