The cabin offers 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, and sleeping space for up to 5 guests. The main-level king sleeping area has a cozy cabin feel and opens to the living room, with a movable divider available for added privacy. Upstairs, guests will find a queen bedroom accessed by steep, narrow stairs. There is also a twin pull-out couch in the main-level office/bedroom.
Inside, guests can enjoy a comfortable living area, streaming TVs, high-speed Wi-Fi, a well-equipped kitchen, dishwasher, drip coffee maker, kettle, toaster oven/air fryer/convection oven, and washer/dryer access in the basement. The home has propane heat for colder months and a mini split AC in the main living area for warmer days.
Outside, relax on the front porch with Adirondack chairs, enjoy the back deck with a gas grill and small seating area, or gather around the backyard fire pit after a day of Vermont adventures. Parking is available in front of the house for up to 3 cars.
The location offers a peaceful Elmore setting while still being within easy driving distance of the area’s best outdoor destinations. Stowe Main Street, with its restaurants and coffee shops, is 10 minutes away, Stowe Mountain Resort is about 22 minutes away, and Smugglers’ Notch is approximately 45 minutes away. Lake Elmore is 10 minutes to the north, you can swim or boat in the lake, or hike to the Fire Tower for some of the best views around!

***Bedroom Layout Notes:
• The upstairs queen bedroom is accessed by steep, narrow stairs. Please use caution when going up and down.
• The king bed is located in a sleeping area that is open to the living room. A movable room divider is provided for additional privacy.
• The twin pull-out sofa is located in the main-level bedroom/office.
**Please note: Winter conditions can change quickly, and snow tires or four-wheel drive are strongly recommended in colder months.

Payment Policies
A partial payment in the amount of 50% of the grand total is due upon booking. Remaining payment is due no later than 45 days prior to arrival. If the booking is made after the second payment would be due, then this payment will be combined and due together with the first payment.
Refund and Cancellation policy:
We recommend that all travelers purchase trip insurance for their trip.
For channel bookings (airbnb, vrbo/homeaway, booking.com): The cancellation policy listed at checkout in the channel website shall supercede the below cancellation policy.
For reservations less than 30 nights:
Cancellations confirmed by Mountain View Vacations more than 60 days prior to the arrival date (90 days prior for holiday periods) will receive a full refund, minus a 10% service charge. There is no refund for cancellations requested 60 days or less prior to the arrival date (90 days prior for holiday periods). However, at our discretion, refunds may be considered to the extent canceled dates can be filled at comparable rates. If you anticipate not being able to utilize your reservation, contact us as early as possible so we can make the dates available to other travelers.
For reservations 30 nights and longer:
Reservations 30 nights and longer may be canceled for 48 hours after booking, provided the arrival date is more than 30 days in the future. A 10% service charge will apply to all cancellations. The reservation is 50% refundable up until 180 days prior to the start date of the reservation. After this period, there is no further refund for a cancellation. Mountain View Vacations may, at its sole discretion, consider a refund to the extent that canceled dates may be filled at comparable rates. If you anticipate not being able to utilize your reservation, contact us as early as possible so we can make the dates available to other travelers.

Guest agrees to keep the property and all furnishings in good order.
Absolutely no Bachelor or Bachelorette parties. This house is for families, extended families and couples who will treat it with respect and like it is their own home.
People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
Guests are not allowed to exceed the stated occupancy limit.
Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors; Code-enforced neighborhood quiet hours are from 10:00p.m.-7:00a.m.
No shoes or gear in the house. Please leave it in the entryway.
The property is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
Water and Septic: The property is on a private well and septic system. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products or anything other than toilet paper have been flushed and clog the septic system, guest agrees to pay for all charges related to remediation and repair.
Storms and Inclement weather:
No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Gravel drives are well maintained; however, we highly recommend four wheel drive and/or chains during the snow season. There are no refunds due to conditions or weather.
